Focused temperature monitoring, right inside the home cage

AnyCage Lite uses the UID UCT-2112 temperature-sensing microchip, the same implantable transponder trusted across UID's broader lab animal ID portfolio. These chips deliver ±0.1°C accuracy across a 30–46°C physiological range, linking every reading directly to an individual animal ID. Antennas mount magnetically or via the included clip in either a 3″ round or 2″×5″ rectangular format to fit standard cage tops and rack configurations.

AnyCage Lite is a plug-and-play USB temperature monitoring system designed for labs running single-cage studies or small cohorts. Each reader sits directly at the cage — no dedicated controllers, no server infrastructure, no IT overhead. Plug a reader into any lab workstation, open the Data Collector software, and you are logging continuous temperature data in minutes.

The system supports up to eight readers per PC, making it straightforward to scale from a pilot study of one cage to a more expansive cohort as your project grows. Each additional reader costs $300, keeping expansion affordable and incremental.
